April 2020: COVID-19 Edition

Life has changed for most in the past weeks. Kids are at home, and we might not feel secure in many ways we did before. We wanted to keep you posted about what's happening at our office and stay connected to help you with some oral hygiene and general tips to make this difficult time pass a little smoother.

As you already know, our office is closed and as of now we do not know when we will be reopened. This is guided by our governing college as well as public health. We are unfortunately unable to provide emergency dental care due to lack of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). We are checking our voice messages on a daily basis so if you are having an issue, feel free to reach out to us so we can help. We will reschedule appointments as soon as we are able, and add hours in order to make up for the backlog as quickly as possible. Stay tuned, we will be sending more oral health tips to help keep your smile fresh and healthy while staying at home to help bridge the gap for those who have had to cancel or move hygiene appointments.

During this time, our Dental family along with yours are doing our best to avoid the spread of disease. We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe and staying home!

With efforts, this will hopefully pass sooner than later and may we all not take for granted our health and that of our loved ones and friends.

Sincerely,

The Team at Haas Dental Centre

Healthy Lemon Bars (with No Refined Sugar)

With the spread of COVID-19 rapidly increasing, it is important to boost your immune system. Especially when you and your kids are stuck at home to practice social distancing, what better way to spend time than to make a citrusy dessert like lemon bars together! These healthy lemon bars are not only easy to make with your kids, but they also include Vitamin C which helps build up your immune system by increasing the production of white blood cells.
