Dr. Dan Haas is a general and cosmetic dentist practicing in North York, Toronto. He also served as a clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, where he taught senior dental students for over 20 years how to provide clinical dental care.

Dr. Haas realizes that to be a well-respected, trusted and knowledgeable dental professional, it is imperative that continuing education is at the forefront of his practice. He and his team take great joy and pride in the hundreds of hours of combined continuing education they take every year.

Dr. Haas attended in-depth courses to offer his clients the latest in dental care for outstanding results, including:

Dr. Haas earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Microbiology from the University of Toronto, followed by his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. For over 20 years, he was an active faculty member at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry.

Through the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and Nobel Biocare, he has trained extensively in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry—personally placing many implants with manufacturer-guided techniques for optimal outcomes.

He is a certified member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD) and trained in both diode soft-tissue lasers and erbium all-tissue lasers. He is also affiliated with:

• Canadian Dental Association (CDA)
• International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics (IAPA)
• Ontario Dental Association (ODA)

For over two decades, he has served as a clinical consultant for The Dental Advisor, a publication that provides long-term clinical product evaluations, keeping him engaged with the latest dental materials and technologies.

Volunteerism is a vital part of Dr. Haas's life. He was recognized by the Ontario Provincial Government for over 10 years of providing dental care to homeless and street-involved youth at the SHOUT Clinic.

His philosophy emphasizes diligent prevention to reduce dental emergencies and maintain oral health. Every patient receives a comprehensive dental exam every five years, including full X-rays. When treatment is needed, he selects the most conservative options to preserve natural tooth structure—prioritizing both function and aesthetics.

Diana has been a dedicated dental hygienist for over 30 years, including 17 years with Dr. Dan Haas's team. She is passionate about staying current through continuing education and is committed to providing excellent care.

Outside the clinic, Diana enjoys spending time with loved ones and traveling to new places with friends.

Annie

Annie has over 21 years of dental background. In 2004, she graduated from George Brown College as a Level II Dental Assistant. She felt a desire to continue her education and help serve her community as a dental hygienist. Annie completed her Dental Hygiene training and graduated from Oxford North Toronto in 2008.

She is passionate about oral health care and has volunteered her time with various health mission organizations travelling to remote villages in Puerto Diana, Bahia Negra and Paraguay as a dental hygienist. Annie actively upgrades herself to improve her ability to care for her patients. She loves to take care of people and provides satisfying dental hygiene services in a relaxed and caring environment. Her goal is to educate and provide valuable advice to her patients thereby improving their oral and systemic health.

Annie has joined Haas Dental Centre since 2022. When Annie is away from the office she loves spending time with her family and making her 3 children and dog smile.

Cathy

Dedicated to promoting smiles and optimal oral health, Cathy is an accomplished dental hygienist with a proven track record in delivering compassionate care. Graduating from Niagara College in 1998,she brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence to every patient interaction.

Cathy also enjoys spending leisure time with her awesome husband shopping and watching sports.

Liat

Liat is a dedicated and caring hygienist committed to excellent patient care. Liat graduated from TCDHA and has been working as a hygienist for over 13 years. She joined the Haas Dental Centre in 2013.

When she's not in the office she loves spending time with her husband and their two boys, embracing family life and creating lasting memories.

Antonella
a.k.a. Ms. Go-To Girl

Antonella known as the team's "Ms. Go-To Girl," Antonella recently celebrated 25 years of working alongside Dr. Dan Haas and his dedicated team. As the Treatment Coordinator/Dental Administrator/Dental Assistant, she is kind and warm hearted that patients turn to for guidance, helping them understand their treatment options and make informed decisions with confidence.

Antonella began her career in dentistry after graduating as a Dental Assistant in 1994 and has been an integral part of Dr. Dan's practice since 2000, taking on various roles with skill and heart. Her depth of experience and approachable nature make her a trusted resource for both patients and colleagues alike.

Outside the office, Antonella takes great pride in watching her grown children thrive in their own paths. She enjoys cooking, baking, or planning her next travel adventure.

Celia

With over 20 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, I've had the pleasure of helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental visits. At Haas Dental Centre, I focus on patient care and assisting in a wide range of dental procedures. I love being part of a team that values both professional care and personal connection—and nothing makes me happier than seeing patients leave with a healthier, brighter smile.

When I'm away from the office I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and our dog Xena.

Linda

Linda is Dr. Dan's assistant, and has been working along side him and his team since September 2018. She went to CDI College and graduated in 2007. You may catch her all over the office in a variety of spots at once- constantly speed walking to help around. Linda likes to sit down and play video games when at home, or hang out with her children.

At all times, she needs her favourite drink in the entire world; coffee.
